Please investigate DHEA More & Make the Gov Understand its Potential health risks! -- My Best Friend Recently died due to DHEA, ( stated "U of Mich Medical Center Drs") which caused pancreatic infection/destruction. After weeks of fighting off this hormone/steroid invasion in his body he died . . . at 43 years young!!! Please Warn others about the risk of being (dying) young forever!!!

Hi Thomas,

If you revisit my Public Library site, you will note that I CAUTION all healthseekers to use extreme prudence IF they choose to use DHEA. As you know, it is banned in Canada as a controlled substance and in Europe requires the Prescription by a Physician. The FDA has DHEA and 15 other herbs/hormones on their "Monitor List" - in fact the FDA has added a ADVERSE REACTION REPORT to their website.

Please accept my personal condolences for the passing of your dear best friend. Such an unnecessary loss affects us all - We do need better EDUCATION on the use of all Herbs, Botanicals and Hormones, BUT I do not believe REGULATION by the Government is the answer. The United States has the Highest Drug Abuse record in the world and all illegal drugs are regulated!!! The Final and Ultimate Solution rests in proper education of the Medical-Scientific Community and the Public-at-Large.
